#21 Fusion gets new driver:
It’s going to be a year of excitement as Wood Brothers Racing forms a new powerful alliance. This year, Team Penske development driver Ryan Blaney will take the wheel of the iconic Motorcraft® Wood Brothers Racing #21 Fusion. Blaney hopes to accelerate his already rapid NASCAR® career, racing in the NASCAR Sprint® Cup Series. He will race in the 2015 Daytona 500, along with other events in California, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Michigan and Indiana.
Blaney, a third-generation driver, is known as one of the best young talents on the circuit. He joins an impressive list of drivers who have raced for Wood Brothers since 1950. The Wood Brothers are entering their 65th consecutive year in NASCAR, making them the longest consecutively running team in the history of the sport. In fact, they’ve been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for this achievement.
